Governor Cuomo Holds Emergency Briefing On Taylor Swift’s Surprise Album
Albany, NY – In a state that is slowly recovering from the coronavirus pandemic, Governor Andrew Cuomo held an emergency press briefing in regards to the shocking news of Taylor Swift’s new album. “Today’s announcement was something we were not expecting and you have my word that my administration will do everything to help people get through this challenging time” Mr. Cuomo said in his opening statement. Early on Thursday morning Taylor Swift announced via social media that she is releasing her 8th album, catching the world off guard. New Yorker’s were in shock to hear such news and the Governor was quick to address it. “Normally there would have been a calculated launch of new music from Ms. Swift and this really threw us for a loop”. Mr. Cuomo said that he will be working tirelessly to make sure that those who do not have access to Taylor Swift will be given access to her new album. A task force has been established to determine just how many people have been exposed to Taylor Swift and who still needs to be. He closed out his briefing saying “Remember, we are New York Tough. We handled multiple album drops during this quarantine from Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Carly Rae Jepsen, and we can handle this one”.
