Take That Net Neutrality! Verizon Introduces Unlimited Payment Plan

In the wake of the repeal of Net Neutrality, Verizon announced that it will be offering an unlimited payment plan to all of its broadband customers. Sweet! This new and mandatory plan allows customers to pay Verizon unlimited sums of money to access the same level of service they already have. Here is a highlight from the company press release:

“With the burdens of Net Neutrality finally repealed, we are excited to announce that we are offering our customers a new and exciting Unlimited Payment Plan (UPP). Customers can now pay us unlimited sums of money to have access to services that you already use and love.”

Verizon also says that it will be rolling this out to its wireless customers as well. Not to be outdone, Comcast, Spectrum, and AT&T have also announced they are releasing similar plans in the near future.
